Governor Sisolak to celebrate Governor Designated STEM Schools

On May 16, 2022, Governor Steve Sisolak celebrated nine more schools designated as Governor’s STEM Schools at Walker Elementary. Berkeley Bunker ES was one of these celebrated schools! At this ceremony our representative team received our official "Nevada Governor Designated STEM School" banner.  

“Nevada is constantly changing, and getting kids involved in STEM early is critical to our future success,” said Governor Sisolak. “The jobs that will be available when our students graduate from college may not even exist right now, but a strong understanding of important STEM concepts will prepare them for the exciting future.”
